Chain of Custody Tracking

Net Transcripts’ Web-based Order Center was designed specifically around tracking the Chain of Custody of all data at any given point during the transcription process. Our proprietary system tracks a transcription order from the time an order is placed until the completed transcript is returned to the customer. Customers, transcribers, employees and administrators all have unique login/access credentials, which are used to track activity and permit/restrict file access. These processes preserve the custody chain and confidentiality by controlling file access at various levels.

Data Security Compliance

Net Transcripts’ data and information systems security protocols comply with minimum federal regulations including FIPS-200 Minimum Security Requirements for Federal Information and Information Systems; Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12; Privacy Act of 1974; E-Government Act of 2002; Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002; and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPPA).
